It is up to you to participate in the life of Provincetown and its winter events.  This small town has a friendly and generous spirit.  There are many other towns and villages a few minutes away by car and they also offer many surprises- I was recently in Wellfleet at a “Live from the Met” broadcast at the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater.  I had a lovely time at the opera and left the theater to eat some lovely lobster on the Cape!

In no time you’ll be joining residents for dinners and small parties.  These mini social events make the winter months fun and quite lively- as long as you are willing to participate!
