Gale Force Bikes is located nearest to the bicycle trails and Herring Cove Beach.  It is a short 20 minute walk from the center of town.
A ride through the bicycle trails at the nearby Cape Cod National Seashore is a popular activity that should not be missed.  Their most popular rental bicycles are our hybrid/comfort bicycles which have a comfortable gel seat along with a shock-absorbing suspension seat post and front suspension. their hybrid bicycles offer a comfortable, upright riding position and plenty of gears (21 or 24 speeds) for riding through the hills around town and on the bike trail.

They also rent sport mountain bikes with aluminum-frames, front suspension and disc brakes, or basic 21-speed steel-frame mountain bikes with conventional brakes (no suspension).  If you prefer to go on a longer ride on a road bike, they have light-weight Cannondale Synapse 5 road bikes equipped with a Shimano 105 drivetrain.  And for those who just want basic transportation around town or to the beach they  have single-speed and multi-speed beach cruisers. All of their bicycle rentals include the use of a lock and a helmet.  Free daytime parking is available while renting bicycles.

Also located in the same building as Gale Force Bikes is the Beach Market Sandwich Shop.  They provide a convenient one-stop place to get your meal, beverages and snacks to take to the beach, or with you on your bike ride.  The Beach Market also has beach items like beach chairs, towels, sun tan lotion and sun block.
